Trauma

Our trauma does not have to define us but it can be used to strengthen us. We all experience situations that can be described as traumatic, but at times we can get stuck in a trauma response when we do not fully process what happened. This can feel like being on edge and alert of your surroundings constantly. It can involve unwanted thoughts and flashbacks of what you have experienced. It is something we often tell ourselves to avoid, but talking about the trauma can be healing.
